Bio

Carolyn Riley is New York based comedian and writer who has established herself as a smart, stand-out voice in the comedy scene. Carolyn came to New York recently by way of Boston, where she was named Laugh Boston's "Funniest Person in Massachusetts." She has opened for national headliners including David Cross (Arrested Development), Melissa Villasenor (SNL), Alex Moffat (SNL), Chris Distefano (MTV), Laurie Kilmartin (Last Comic Standing, Conan Staff Writer), and Jim Breuer (SNL, Comedy Central). She has performed in the Big Sky, Limestone, Big Pine, Boston, Rogue Island, and Cape Cod Comedy Festivals. Carolyn has also made appearances on John Fugelsang's "Tell Me Everything" and "Stand Up with Pete Dominick" on Sirius XM radio. Carolyn was selected as "Comic in Residence" at The Comedy Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts in June 2019, where she opened every show for the month. Formerly The University of New Hampshire's "Funniest Person on Campus 2016," Carolyn's fresh perspective has made her a hit at colleges, universities, and high schools across the country.
